The water is in a "charged state" following the light infusion process and is best consumed immediately after dispensing.
Does the water’s appearance change over time?
The water’s appearance should remain consistent over time.
What is the best time of the day to drink the water?
LifeWave X₂O water is best taken daily, in the morning upon waking, preferably on an empty stomach. We also advise that you drink it at room temperature, with no ice, for maximum benefits.
What container should I put the water in?
ONLY place our water into a glass container and do NOT use a plastic container.
How many glasses can I have per day?
You only need one 450 ml/15 oz glass of LifeWave X₂O water per day.
Note that LifeWave X₂O should not replace your daily water intake but supplement it.
Can I cook with the water or use it for coffee?
We DO NOT recommend that people boil the water as it might lose efficacy.
How many times a day can the machine be run?
There is no set limit to the number of times the machine can be run. Note that increased use will mean that filters need to be replaced more frequently.
Can I give LifeWave X₂O light-infused water to my pets?
We have not conducted any trials on animals. The LifeWave X₂O water consumption is recommended for humans only.

What type of water can I use in this system?
You may use tap, spring, filtered, distilled, or deuterium-depleted water. Do not use alkaline, carbonated water, or add minerals.
What is the temperature of the water dispensed from the LifeWave X₂O system?
The water will be dispensed at room temperature (68–77°F / 20–25°C).
What size is the water reservoir?
LifeWave X₂O can hold up to 2 liters of water in its reservoir.
How long does it take to produce a glass of water?
The machine can produce two 450 ml / 15 oz glasses of water approximately every 45 minutes.
How long after dispensing two 450 ml / 15 oz glasses of treated water can I process additional glasses?
If two glasses are dispensed, the machine will require an additional 45 minutes to process the next batch of water. The touch-screen display will notify you when the next two glasses are ready.
How many filtration steps are there?
This water machine uses a two-step filtration process before entering our light-infusion stage. The primary water filtration stage is designed to reduce a broad range of impurities found in municipal tap water.*
The secondary filtration stage further improves purity while adding hydrogen to the water.
What is the filtration capacity of the LifeWave X₂O primary and secondary filters?
Each 450 ml / 15 oz glass of water adds up quickly — but our high-capacity filters are designed to last up to 6 months under typical daily use. After 6 months, we recommend replacing both filters to maintain optimal performance.
Primary Filter processes up to 250 gallons — equivalent to around 10 glasses per day.
Secondary Filter handles 150 gallons, or approximately 6 glasses per day.
For higher-use households, the LifeWave X₂O system is equipped with a smart display that will notify you when it’s time to replace a filter, ensuring uninterrupted access to light-infused water.
